I get why the Niners are gun shy about giving BA a bunch of guaranteed money since they still have to pay Brock. And, Dee Ford got a big contract and was hurt a lot. Same thing with Armstead. Even DeeBo hasn't lived up to his contract because of injury. But with all of the WR inflation, DeeBo's contract has gone from looking horrible to basically mid. And, the only way the salary cap doesn't keep going up is if there is a black swan event like Taylor Swift dumping her goofy ass boyfriend and TV ratings take a temporary hit.

With regards to the superbowl - it did feel like Kyle was trying to force the ball to Deebo too much, particularly after they started to run more man coverage. It’s tough to reconcile all the praise you hear Brock Purdy getting with what you saw in the playoffs. He certainly didn’t seem overly confident or prepared when he was bouncing the ball off defenders against the Packers and Lions. Or when he couldn’t lead the offense to score 20 points in the Super Bowl to win a championship.

Nobody likes a selfish diva, as that's the sort of behavior that will lose you friends and fans in and out of the locker room. I agree that Aiyuk's behavior has not risen to that level, and if he walks back into the locker room with the professionalism and dog that he's shown during his entire career, then everyone will have his back.

Save the money and trade him. Love BA but we can't keep paying superstar deals. And as a fan when players act like the deal is more important than the team it sours how you feel overall about watching your team. Bosa last year same shit.
